Mynydd Bodafon
I love to carve stone despite it being a slow and unforgiving medium. I feel that stone carvings should offer both a visual and tactile experience. The inspiration for my work is largely naturalistic and may come from the uncut stone itself or images I see whilst walking around Anglesey.

Millbank
There is a Portrait Group in Ucheldre on 21/4/22 (10am-1pm). My Pen y Braich Studio, Llandderfel, Bala, LL23 7PY, is open but please ring for an appointment. I continue to grapple with the difficulties of technique to express ideas – all subjects are possibilities.
Open all year around by prior appointment.

I enjoy the opportunity to indulge in a creative project specifically for this annual event. My search for a satisfactory method to combine photography and stitch continues.

Huw Gareth Jones has tested positive and his studio will be closed all week. He hopes to be open though for the Bank Holiday Weekend.
I create paintings that are rooted in the character of the landscape and buildings of the area. The paintings are developed from drawings done on the spot in pencil, charcoal, watercolour acrylic and mixed media.
Open throughout the year by prior appointment.

Glanrafon
I was brought up in Menai Bridge and studied at Liverpool, Chelsea and the RCA. I worked as an illustrator and senior lecturer at art colleges and as art director of Raw Vision magazine. I paint on slate, creating Welsh-inspired landscapes and jewellery.
Open throughout the year by prior appointment.

A multi-disciplined artist based in Llangoed, Beaumaris, I try to capture the beauty of our Island, the seas and mountains beyond in a variety of formats. Experimenting with the use of colour, texture, light and a dash of humour to create my art.

When I draw a line, looking and action interplay; the line will enclose, cut off or divide. Another time I scribble volume till I come to the edge where the image drops into the universe. The scribbles are unconsiously done, can’t lie, can’t be wrong but draw me in, form structure – make sense.

I have a passion for colour and texture, and produce work which reflects this. My hope is that it conveys the optimism and joy I feel for what the world has to offer, and lifts the spirits in the same way as when I am painting.
Open throughout the year by prior appointment.

Pen-Dref Street
I love the intense colour and richness of oil paint, applying the paint thickly and undiluted often mixing direct on the canvas. I aim to capture the physical reality of nature.its texture, colour and the play of light. My subject matter is Anglesey.
