From the centre of Menai Bridge, take road between Nat West and HSBC Banks, Hill Street, to top, turn right along Mount Street towards The Orchard. The Studio at Maes Yr Awel is second right along the country lane – limited parking.
Crys Pearce is an established contemporary Fine Artist who regularly exhibits in the UK and abroad and has her own studio and gallery.
(English) I create collage and assemblage art as little collections or scenes composed in shadow boxes.
I like to re-imagine a new meaning for ordinary and extraordinary objects.
My background is in Illustration, and I collect unlikely objects to create shrine like pictures/collages which have their own story or poem.
I received my BA in Art & Design from Newport College of Art, Wales.
I now have a studio on Anglesey.
I am a trained illustrator and I worked for Bangor University as an
Illustrator and book designer, before leaving to go and work in India for several years.
