About us

The Anglesey Arts Forum (AAF) exists to promote the arts on Anglesey. It is run by a volunteer Committee elected by the Members; see Committee tab for current membership. Due to a shortage of resources the Forum concentrates upon organizing the Anglesey Arts Weeks (AAW): the Open Studios at Easter, and the Anglesey Performing Arts Weeks (APAW) in October.

Its long-term ambition is to create an on-line database of all the arts organizations, groups and individuals on the Island. To that end interested groups and individuals are invited to apply for a profile on the website.

APAW celebrates the vast range of artistic talent in association with Holyhead Arts Festival, drama, dance companies, schools, bands, choirs, orchestras, societies, and clubs enabling them to promote their activities by holding special events, open rehearsals, or practices. See Performing Arts Weeks Section of the website.

AAW: Open Studios allows visitors to meet the artists in their studios. Again further details and full listing under Arts Weeks.

Membership of the Forum is free and anyone interested or involved in the arts in any way is welcome to join. Those who wish to have a Member’s Profile need to be either working, living or exhibiting on Anglesey. For more information or to register interest in AAW or APAW contact the Ucheldre Centre 01407 763361, or marketing@ucheldre.org.
