I have a passion for colour and texture, and produce work which reflects this. My hope is that it conveys the optimism and joy I feel for what the world has to offer, and lifts the spirits in the same way as when I am painting.

Pen-Dref Street
I love the intense colour and richness of oil paint, applying the paint thickly and undiluted often mixing direct on the canvas. I aim to capture the physical reality of nature.its texture, colour and the play of light. My subject matter is Anglesey.

Penysarn
Veronica Knowles is a very private artist, her subject matter is almost entirely her own garden, family, friends and domestic animals. Although by choice she exhibits rarely, she has works in both private and public collections.

I create collage and assemblage art as little collections or scenes composed in shadow boxes.
I like to re-imagine a new meaning for ordinary and extraordinary objects.
My background is in Illustration, and I collect unlikely objects to create shrine like pictures/collages which have their own story or poem.
I received my BA in Art & Design from Newport College of Art, Wales.
I now have a studio on Anglesey.
I am a trained illustrator and I worked for Bangor University as an
Illustrator and book designer, before leaving to go and work in India for several years.

Longford Road
Iwan Lewis, recent graduate from Royal College of Art. My vernacular is challenged by a need to question its origin, from understanding painting through Speilberg’s ET to conversing with Henri Rousseau through a fish tank.

Brynsiencyn
Whilst continuing with my passion for print, in the summer I enjoy creating large canvasses with oils. Both larger works and prints will be on show during Open Studios, as well as recent collage portraits.

Of course this new work is informed by all my previous creative experience and I am enjoying producing work in this way. In these paintings daily life wanders into familiar landscapes and settings.

High Street
