Our Saturday morning workshops help young people to develop communication and theatre skills within a friendly and supportive environment. Using voice, movement, improvisation, mime and script work, to build confidence and encourage teamwork, our members also enjoy considerable success within annual LAMDA exams.

I have always worked in textiles but am now combining my love of fabrics, with art creating textile pictures, landscapes and bags. Many of my items use the natural beauty of local scenery.

A fine art printmaker and painter who is presently working on a series of images based on trees and geology. The 4-plate colour prints are a combination of carborundum and photopolymer. The recent paintings are on organically shaped pieces of wood.

My practice focuses on degradation, chance and abandonment. Qualities such as decay, light, historical graffiti and ephemeral detail remain untouched and honest. Interests in colour and ancient cultures combine to create a background influence on my work, whether photographing dereliction or decaying nature or large paintings on found materials.

Flow, layering, chance, and play are concepts intrinsic to my work and, on a more elusive level, the sublime, stasis in motion, nearness in distance, the paradox of silence.

I work with photography, technology and materials. I’m interested in the natural world, including ourselves, and the impact technology is having on our lives. I will be sharing the Open Studio space with Liesbeth Williams.

Every year Ysgol Uwchradd Caergybi puts on a musical. Pupils from throughout the school take part and also help with the band, backstage, costume and make-up, lighting and sound. This year the production is the hugely popular show Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

My work has a broad subject base. I paint from observation, the human figure, the mountain landscape; trees, rocks, seascapes, waterfalls and flowers. I use watercolour, oils, acrylic, inks, collage and mixed media to create unusual paintings of people, costume, memories, dreams, still life, abstract, interpretations of places and poetry.

I illustrate stories, poetry, and humorous verse in pastels, 3D, pen and ink. These images are transferred onto a CD with a narration to produce a slide show with sound effects. They are equally suitable for book illustration

I delight in observing simple, everyday events and emotions, the narratives that, imagined or not, play out in front of me while I in turn remain unnoticed, an outsider looking in.I would like to think that my work touches on the human condition, in some small way.

Jasmine is an artist whose main focus is on painting animals, particularly horses. Working in a variety of media, she endeavours to capture the beauty, spirit and splendour of the equine subject. She also paints pet portraits livestock and rural/agricultural scenes. Commissioned, original artwork and some limited edition prints available.

My inspiration comes from colour rather than subject. I paint, using mixed media, make beaded jewellery, and work with paint, dichroic glass, mosaic, silk fabric, wax (encaustic), sand, and polystyrene. I enjoy experimenting and at present I am working on designs for a bead loom.
