Longford Road
I love painting, the thrill of turning a blank white canvas into something unique, the way time just flies by while I’m painting and the joyness I feel when I get complimented on or sell my work. I use acrylic on canvas and prefer painting large paintings. I am happiest painting people but often get commissions for pet portraits and houses.

Rating Row
Group work of photographers that are members of clubs in North Wales. Everyone’s work will be different.
Open throughout the year by prior appointment.

During the Open Studios Weeks the Arts Forum exhibits at least one piece of work from each of the participating artists. An opportunity to see which studios you might like to visit and pick up further information and advice.

Millbank
Ucheldre programmes events, concerts, films, satellite broadcasts, exhibitions, societies and workshops throughout the year. During AAW it exhibits work by participating artists, along with workshops and an opportunity to meet makers and artists.

I enjoy varying my artistic practice between capturing Anglesey’s beauty in traditional paintings and 2/3D Fine Art pieces in a variety of materials based on concepts including biotechnology. I am also a jeweller and working on new ranges of silver pieces. Anglesey’s coastline inspires much of my work.

We play on a charitable basis, not charging fees but accepting donations for expenses. We have played at hospices (Beaumaris, Caernarfon), old people’s homes, fêtes (Rotary, Plas Newydd) carol services, W.Is, at Oriel Ynys Môn etc.

A personal response to all that surrounds us using various painting media. A compulsive, joyous and frustrating journey – are we nearly there?

I am relatively new to art and have been focusing on making my own pathway in developing my own style. I paint with feeling and spontaneity embracing the creative process of abstract expressionism as well as developing my love for collage and print making.

My attitude towards my work has become more sensitive to what I am doing and why I am doing it. As a consequence, I utilise locally sourced clays, minerals, oxides and wood ash in my slips and glazes. Salt glaze seems to emphasise and complement the somewhat unpredictable nature of these ‘as dug’ materials.

Beach Road
Enjoy looking for detail in extremely miniature models
and embroideries which have been featured in many
publications, exhibited in museums here and overseas
and also in National Trust houses in various parts of the UK. Imaginative recycling of scrap tat.
Open all year around by prior appointment.

12 Maes Hyfryd
I studied Fine Art in both Australia and the UK, and love to draw/paint any subject in any medium. Have drawn inspiration from the varied landscapes of both countries, also seascapes around the beautiful Isle of Anglesey. I have a small garden studio and enjoy giving tuition to both individuals and small groups.

Carreglefn
Thrown and hand-built Soda Stoneware fired pottery
Open all year around by prior appointment.

Bridge Street
During lock-down I continued working in the Welsh landscape. Much of the new work produced over the period is now showing in the Gallery as beautiful, archival, signed fine-art prints & greetings cards. My coffee table books are still available.
