Basket making is a heritage craft. I work with willow and various natural materials to create both traditional and innovative baskets as well as structural forms. I will be exhibiting and demonstrating work practices during Open Studios at Hawthorn Yard.

My paintings are abstract seascapes, created by monoprinting. I want to capture in my paintings the different moods and moments that you experience from being on Anglesey, from the swirling seas that surround us to the mountains we look out on. I have a gallery space in The Exchange.

Anthony Garratt paints large scale canvases in the open, making them a feature of the landscape. For the period 28 March – mid-October Anthony is being sponsored by Menai Holiday Cottages to create 4 giant paintings at different locations on Anglesey.
