Llangoed
Lynne’s paintings in acrylics are inspired by the forms and patterns found in the local landscape. They start with the natural surroundings but frequently there is an abstract element to the composition and colour in particular plays an important role.
In addtion to days open during the Weeks I am open throughout the year by prior appointment.

Artisan Candles featuring unique designs inspired by the Island, its coastal landscape and the natural world. The endless possibilities of shape, colour and texture to be found working in wax, makes the process of designing a new candle quite magical.

Lon Crecrist
Woodturning for over 20 years, Jules produces a wide range of one-off work and giftware. He uses mainly reclaimed woods succh as fenceposts, oak beams and wreck timbers.
Llangaffo
Craig Taylor paints wildlife subjects (particularly birds) in a realistic style. He uses Acrylic, Oil, Watercolour and Gouache. He is a lifelong birdwatcher and a full member of the Association of Animal Artists.

I have been a designer /artist all my working life. I work in different media including Acrylics, Watercolours, Oils and Embroidered / Appliqued Art. I paint or stitch whatever inspires me making for an eclectic mix!
Llanfaelog
I have been predominantly inspired to portray the coal mining industry, and industrial landscapes in which I worked for a number of years. I now enjoy producing landscapes and seascapes, working in oils on canvas or pen and ink.
Caim, Penmon
Lillemor Latham, working under the name The Crafty Guillemot, creates small batches of wheel-thrown stoneware ceramics. The glaze work draws on the coastal and mountainous landscapes in North Wales.
Offering temporary art exhibitions from local artists and photographers with art for sale. Artisan displays in the hotel’s gift shop complements each exhibition.

I’m a potter who makes colourful pots and plates to use at the dinner table. I enjoy the unpredictability of the firing process, where the lack of complete control in the transformation of the clay and the glazes brings a liveliness to the piece.

HERMON
Liz Toole – Handmade prints, paintings on driftwood inspired by nature and heavily inspired by birds. Printmaking demonstration at 2pm on day’s open, watch Liz creating a print. Mouse Sails – gorgeous recycled products.

Carmel
Faye Trevelyan makes decorative fused glass using sheet, crushed and powered glass to create imagery and texture. I also offer workshops where budding artists can design and make their own glass artwork.

Dulas
Tyddyn Môn, a charity supporting adults with Learning Disabilities on Anglesey, offers pottery making facilities and training on their farm near Amlwch. You are invited to view the pottery of Richard Daniels and work of the trainees.
A small ensemble theatre company attached to the Ucheldre Centre. Formed over twenty years ago, it performs 2-3 English language productions a year. New talent always welcome, no experience needed.

Chance and order – paint is pulled, scraped etc, – combined with fairly precise geometric structures. These maybe just grids or tetrahedrons, or patterns derived from other sources – maths, music notation etc
