Changes to this year’s Open Studio’s guide 2025
Painters, sculptors, photographers, film- makers, printmakers, installation artists, and craft workers will be delighted to welcome you to their studios during the Anglesey Arts Weeks (AAW): Open Studios and Galleries Weeks 12 – 27 April, 2025. Anglesey is a beautiful Island so make a holiday of it – enjoy the beaches, and land and seascapes as well as visiting the artists, and enjoying the Walks.

ART AND LANDSCAPE WALKS
SATURDAY 12 / 4 / 2025
10.30am – 3pm
TOUR 1 : Rhoscolyn Studio Walk (6 miles). To visit Huw Jones studio overlooking Rhoscolyn beach.
Meet outside Rhoscolyn School, Rhoscolyn. 10.30 am to 3 pm. A walk of varied landscapes and habitats including reedbed, coastal cliffs, spectacular geology, spring wildflowers and bird- life. The walk will follow a combination of public rights of way and the Anglesey coast path. The route requires a reasonable level of fitness.
SUNDAY 27 / 4 / 2025
10.30am – 3pm
TOUR 2 : Menai Bridge Sketching Walk (1 mile)
Meet at Coed Cyrnol Car Park (near Waitrose, Menai Bridge) 10.30 am to 3 pm. A gently paced sketching and wildlife walk through the woods of Coed Cyrnol down to Church Island located in the Menai Strait. Learn the basics of sketching and mark making in the natural environment with Christine, a talented local artist. More advanced artists are welcome to attend and develop their skills. Learn also about the special wildlife and environment of the Menai Strait. We may see terns, seals and other spring wildlife
